Our one-stop portal enables people in financial need to find and apply for multiple sources of support quickly and easily online, in one place - while using innovative technology (e.g. open banking and ID verification) to streamline administration and outreach for organisations which can help.


We’re impact-driven, revenue generating and work with leading partners such as Lambeth Council, the Royal British Legion and TSB. Since our portal launched 2 years ago, we’ve already reached over 150,000 people and facilitated over £17m in funding to individuals in need. We’ve won awards including the Tech Nation Rising Stars 4.0 Diversity & Inclusion Leading the Way Award, been featured in The Guardian and are backed by Techstars, Innovate UK and Nesta.


About the Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our mission-driven team and build tools that make a difference in people’s lives. As a key contributor, you’ll take ownership of developing impactful product features and shaping the evolution of our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and enhancing product features

  • Helping to shape our product roadmap and design

  • Working collaboratively with other members of the team

  • Engaging with customers/end users and potential technology partners/suppliers

Requirements

  • An exceptional full stack developer who is passionate about building customer-centric products that make a real impact.

  • Comfortable working across Frontend (React, or similar) & Backend (JavaScript, Python, Ruby or similar) and Data (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or similar)

  • Thrive in an agile environment with a customer-centric approach to development

  • Experienced with CI/CD, unit testing, and end-to-end testing

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or similar)

  • Expertise with data stacks and analytics

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • UX/UI design experience

  • Ability to engage effectively with the wider business, customers, and end-users
